Garapa ( pronounced “Gha-rha-pha” ) is often referred to as Brazilian Ash.

It is an extremely durable and dense timber that is naturally resistant to decay, rot and insect attack. Our Garapa is a rich yellow brown in colour with occasional waves of light brown. If left to weather naturally it will become an even silvery ‘beach wood’ grey.
