A solid floor for structural strength or just this "feel" or "sound" under your feet. It is for nailing or gluing. It comes 18 mm+ thick and can be laid directly upon wooden joists with a maximum span of 500 mm. As most planks have widths between 120-130 mm, with proper acclimatisation and care, installation above under-floor heating can be done with very good results. The traditional choice in our modern world.
