DELIVERIES
WoodTrend offer several options for delivery to give you the utmost flexibility and allow you to plan forward.


The cost of delivery is, as for the prices, stated excl. VAT for easier comparison. The delivery cost is based on the combined weight of your possible order and the various options are automatically calculated and shown for you at the time of checkout. All you need to do is to click the most convenient option:


Next Day Delivery:                          Though not on our site we do offer a Next Day delivery subject to the order                                                          is confirmed before 10:30am and you call us to advice you prefer Next Day                                                          delivery and not our standard 2-day delivery.

2 Day Mon-Fri all day 8-18:             Standard delivery. Any orders placed today will be delivered within 8-18 on                                                          the 2nd working day.

2 Day Mon-Fri before 12noon:         For deliveries before 12noon on the 2nd working day.

2 Day Mon-Fri before 9:30AM:         For deliveries before 9:30AM on the 2nd working day.

Saturday Morning before 12noon:   For deliveries on Saturday Morning before 12noon. Order must be placed                                                          by latest Friday 10:30am.

Saturday Morning before 9:30AM:  For deliveries on Saturday Morning before 9:30AM. Order must be placed                                                          by latest Friday 10:30am.

Forward Planning:                           You have decided what you want, you want to secure the favourable price and you want to make sure that it is available when you need it. But – you do not need it immediately due to work still has to be done, builders will only become available at a later state …

All you have to do is to send us an e-mail stating your preferred date of delivery within the next 60 days. WoodTrend will then secure you order, in stock, at no extra cost.


General Clauses:

“First Front Door” Deliveries are made to the “First Front Door” provided it is reasonable accessible, at the discretion of the driver of the delivery company. If it is not considered reasonable accessible, delivery will be made to the “Kerb Side”

Lorry or Van: It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, for instance restrictions of vehicle weight or width, please inform us at the time of the order for us to find best possible solution.

Time of Delivery: The delivery date as specified by WoodTrend, either on the delivery note or invoice or otherwise, shall be treated as an estimate only, based on WoodTrend’s best judgement at the time. WoodTrend will use his best endeavours to deliver by that time but gives no other undertaking as to the time of delivery.

Inspection upon Delivery: If you are unfortunate to receive an item which is visible damaged – or an item is missing – make sure it is noted on the delivery note. ALL deliveries must be signed for.

Acceptance of Goods: The Buyer shall inspect and test the Products and/or Services immediately upon delivery and shall, within 7 working days after delivery, give notice in writing to WoodTrend of any respect in which he alleges that the Products and/or Services are not in accordance with the Sales Order. If the Buyer shall not have given such notice within that time the Products and/or Services shall be deemed to be in every respect in accordance with the Sales Order.

Cancellation: Consumers may cancel their Order for any reason until, but no later than at the end of the 7th working day after the day of receipt of the Product and/or of the Service Order Confirmation (as applicable).

Refunds: In the case of a return, the product(s) must, upon arrival back at our warehouse, be un-used and in undamaged condition as well as in its original, undamaged packaging. The cost of returning and insuring the goods is the sole responsibility of the Buyer. A deduction, equivalent to the cost of handling, delivery and financial charges, if any, specified on the Order and/or at time of Checkout and/or on our Sales Order, will take place before any cleared funds will be returned to the Buyer.

Price of Handling & Delivery: You can make substantial savings by planning when it is best to receive you order. You can easily check the cost of delivery of by going to checkout and choose “Delivery Method”. You can still review and amend your order. 
 
 
Place of Delivery: The Products and/or Services shall be delivered to the Buyer at the place of delivery recorded on the Sales Order – and if no address is recorded there, at the premises of WoodTrend. Unless otherwise stated, part deliveries are permitted at WoodTrend’s option.

Location of Delivery: Our rates are for deliveries within England, Scotland, Wales as well as Northern Ireland. A surcharge will apply, per consignment, for deliveries to certain regions or postcodes even if it is not calculated at the time of checkout.
