WoodTrend offer several options for delivery to give you the utmost flexibility and enable you to forward plan.
The cost of delivery, stated excl. VAT, is based on the combined weight of your order and the various options are calculated automatically for you at time of checkout. All you need to do is to click on the most appropriate option:
Economy delivery: 4 Day Mon-Fri all day 8-18. Any orders placed today will be delivered within 8-18 on the 4th working day.
Premium delivery: 4 Day Mon-Fri before 12 noon. For deliveries before 12noon after the 4th working day. Am Deliveries incur extra charges. Please check.
In order to guarantee delivery, stock and price, goods may be reserved for up to 3 months or longer by arrangement. (Storage may be charged on goods reserved for longer than 3 months). A 20% deposit on the total cost of the goods is required for all reserved stock.
Deliveries are made to the “Kerb Side”. Deliveries are one man only. Please ensure person(s) available to receive the consignment.
Lorry or Van: It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, for instance restrictions of vehicle weight or width, please inform us at the time of the order for us to find best possible solution.
Time of Delivery: The delivery date as specified by WoodTrend, either on the delivery note, sales order, invoice or otherwise, shall be treated as an estimate only, based on WoodTrend’s best judgement at the time. WoodTrend endeavours to deliver by that time but gives no other undertaking as to the time of delivery.
Unfortunately we are unable to ask the courier to call you prior to the delivery.
Goods must be kept in secure and dry conditions until use. Wood needs to acclimatise. Decking and cladding should not be left outside unprotected from sun and rain before installation. Flooring should be allowed to acclimatise in situ for 3-7 days before installation - it is important NOT to program any builders / installers until after this period.
Inspection upon Delivery: If you are unfortunate to receive an item which is visible damaged, has become wet – or an item is missing – make sure it is noted on the delivery note. ALL deliveries must be signed for. We cannot take responsibility for missing items if a clean point of delivery has been given.
Acceptance of Goods: The Buyer shall inspect and test the Products and/or Services immediately upon delivery and shall, within 7 working days after delivery, give notice in writing to WoodTrend of any respect in which he alleges that the Products and/or Services are not in accordance with the Sales Order. If the Buyer shall not have given such notice within that time the Products and/or Services shall be deemed to be in every respect in accordance with the Sales Order.
Cancellation: Consumers may cancel their Order for any reason until, but no later than the end of the 7th working day after the day of receipt of the Product and/or of the Service Order Confirmation (as applicable).
Refunds: In the case of a return, the products(s) must, upon arrival back at our warehouse, be un-used and in undamaged condition as well as in its original, undamaged packaging.
The cost of returning and insuring the goods is the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
A deduction, equivalent to the cost of handling, delivery and financial charges, if any, specified on the Order and /or at time of Checkout and/or on our Sales Order, will take place before any cleared funds will be returned to the Buyer.
