- Depending on the moisture content and species of wood, the automatic gap on our fasteners are 5-7mm for Kiln Dried timers and 3mm for Air Dried. If you have not purchased timber products from Woodtrend it is best to ask your supplier if your product is Air Dried or Kiln Dried. As these fasteners are not suitable for every type timber, we can provide you with great advice on which products you will need.
Our hidden deck fasteners make the perfect installation materials as they provide you with precision installation that can help you achieve a beautifully finished deck. There is no need for unsightly holes or screws as these fasteners are hidden from sight yet still provide maximum hold for your decking.
Woodtrends Cumaru and Ipe decking both feature pre-grooved edges that allow for seamless and easy use of these hidden fastenings. If your decking boards are ungrooved, a biscuit cutter or router will be required.
