Client was inspired by the bespoke flooring manufactured for the Royal Academy of the Arts. All the oak for these floors is hand selected. No stains are needed to darken the oak. Depending on the finishing product used, the timber can achieve a smoky grey colour and deep chocolate sheen.

The timber is fumed all the way through the wear layer. Fuming the timber all the way through takes time but it is worth it. This RAA inspired timber is available to order with a 10 week lead time to allow for the fuming.
